A Carolina truck most of it's life, this really nice Swiss Aqua 72 Ford XLT Ranger short bed has never seen road salt. The present owner has had it over 20 years and only drives it in the summer. There are under 100,000 original miles on this beauty, and not a speck of rust could be found anywhere.
The 302 v8 runs perfectly, and the automatic transmission shifts and performs exactly as it should. New timing gears and chain were added a couple of years ago only because of the age of the vehicle. The truck comes complete with the sliding rear window, tarp, spotlight, power steering and brakes, and everything works as it should except for two minor things. The factory air quit working and it appears that a new compressor may be needed. The neutral safety switch does not work, meaning that the truck could start in any gear. This is common, and not a problem as long as you are aware of it. The roof was re-painted a few years ago because of fading from the sun.
